Name: Caitlyn

Age: As no concrete age is given for her, based on her history and her appearance I'm going to say she's in her mid-twenties.
Appearance: Caitlyn is a fine upstanding young woman - right down her appearance. She dresses in a neo-steampunk style uniform, which is a little unorthodox for most sheriffs, but in Piltover it's just par for the course. She has long, brunette hair which she generally leaves in its natural state, blue eyes, and a medium complexion. She's about 5'2", based on rough guesstimates, but her specific height isn't given. She has a slight, agile build.
History: bing bang boom ;; In addition, Caitlyn has taken on a partner. Her name is Vi, and her title is Piltover Enforcer. She was once an outlaw, but now that she's older, she's been offered a chance for redemption by working alongside Caitlyn to curb the crime in Piltover. Vi's unorthodox and it kind of rubs the control freak in Caitlyn the wrong way sometimes, but when they work in sync, they're unstoppable and terrifying to the criminals of the city. Eeeeexcept for one. Her name is Jinx, and she wreaks havoc everywhere. The only evidence she really leaves behind is an obnoxious graffiti signature, and that's not that much to go on. But they're working on it, because Caitlyn refuses to be bested. ABSOLUTELY REFUSES.
Powers/Talents: Caitlyn has no supernatural abilities or powers. She is, for all intents and purposes, a normal human female. However, she is incredibly intelligent, and she is very talented in the art of the sniper rifle. She's a sureshot, and part of her reputation is that she doesn't miss. She's a very well-respected and heroically hailed sheriff, excellent at what she does and unapologetic about how wonderful she is at it. Also she's really good at trapping yordles. But when it comes to in canon/gameplay, she has the following "special" combat abilities/skills.
Personality: This is really the meat of the application. You should get into what distinguishes your character from others. What are their goals? How would other people describe them? What do they desire, what are they afraid of? How do they present themselves, and what do they internalize?
Why would your character be chosen? Caitlyn doesn't miss. She is an exceptional sleuth and an even better shot with a sniper rifle. She's not bad on the eyes, either.
How much does your character know about nonhumans? I would say that she probably has a medium-level knowledge base. Because she's part of the League and has had experience on the Fields of Justice, she's come into contact with all sorts of beings. Whether the strange non-human creatures from the Shadow Isles or the Yordles, to humans equipped with actual magic, she's come into contact with non-human lifeforms of many kinds. However, she may not know much about the particular creatures to this world without more extensive research.
Why this character: Caitlyn is a really, really fun character to play in game. She's also got a very interesting background and a rich history. She's a kickass twenty-something female who basically runs her city, and that sort of character is always fun to put into a new situation. Adjusting to the chaos of a new world versus her usual order will definitely keep my attention.

HEADSHOT. This is her passive ability. That is, something that is ongoing when she's in combat which she doesn't have to do anything special for. For every bullet that hits when Caitlyn is firing her gun, she gains a point toward making a headshot. After this stacks five times, her next shot deals extra damage.
PILTOVER PEACEMAKER. Caitlyn fires more than just a bullet. She has a second or so to build up to this, so it slows her down, but the projectile she fires covers a slightly wider range than her normal bullets, and does more damage to all enemies in the line of the attack.
YORDLE SNAPTRAP. Caitlyn literally puts a cupcake on top of a device similar to a bear trap. It hurts when it snaps shut. However, it's not as strong as a bear trap as its original intent is to catch yordles, so it can be shaken off after a couple of seconds.
90 CALIBER NET. She fires a net, which knocks herself back several feet, does a small amount of damage, and slows her enemies down when it hits them.
ACE IN THE HOLE. Caitlyn's ultimate ability. She takes one full second to align the perfect shot, across a very wide sniping range. It's a very fast homing projectile and once it is fired, it cannot miss its target. It can be intercepted and blocked by another living target protecting the original target, but it cannot be evaded by other means.
